Every token receives a score from 0-100 based on passing or failing our safety checks. Here's what each tier means:

Score Breakdown
The total score is calculated from multiple components:
Security Score (40%) - RugCheck audit, honeypot detection, mint/freeze authority
Liquidity Score (25%) - LP lock/burn status, liquidity depth
Holder Score (20%) - Distribution analysis, whale detection, holder count
Team Transparency (15%) - Website, social media, community presence
Critical failures (honeypot, previous rugs) automatically result in a Watch/Avoid rating regardless of other scores.

Contract Security (5 Checks)
Honeypot Detection
CriticalVerifies you can actually SELL the token after buying. Honeypots let you buy but block all sells - your money is trapped forever.
Mint Authority Status
CriticalChecks if the creator can print unlimited new tokens. If enabled, they can dilute your holdings to zero at any time.
Freeze Authority Status
HighChecks if anyone can freeze your wallet, preventing you from selling. Your tokens would be permanently stuck.
RugCheck Audit Score
HighIntegrates with RugCheck.xyz's automated audit that analyzes contract code for known exploit patterns and red flags.
Mutable Metadata
MediumChecks if token name, symbol, or image can be changed. Used in "bait and switch" scams where a legit-looking token transforms into something else.
Liquidity Protection (2 Checks)
LP Burn/Lock Status
CriticalVerifies liquidity is protected. BURNED means LP tokens are destroyed forever. LOCKED means they can't be removed until a specific date. Unprotected LP = rug pull risk.
Liquidity Depth
HighMeasures total USD value in the liquidity pool. Low liquidity means you can't exit large positions without major slippage.
Team Transparency (3 Checks)
Anonymous Team Check
CriticalEvaluates overall team transparency. Anonymous teams with no online presence are a HUGE red flag - they can disappear with your money at any time with zero accountability.
Social Media Presence
HighChecks for active presence on Twitter, Telegram, and Discord. Legitimate projects maintain community channels for updates and support.
Website Verification
MediumConfirms project has a website. While not foolproof, having a website shows more effort than typical "deploy and dump" scam tokens.
Holder Distribution (3 Checks)
Top 10 Concentration
HighAnalyzes how much of the supply is held by the top 10 wallets. High concentration means a small group can crash the price instantly.
Single Whale Check
HighDetects if any single wallet holds more than 10% of supply (excluding LP and burn addresses). One whale can dump and crash everything.
Holder Count
MediumCounts total unique holders. Very low holder counts suggest either very early stage (risky) or fake activity.
Deployer History (2 Checks)
Previous Rug History
CriticalChecks if the token creator's wallet has deployed tokens that were later rugged. If they've done it before, they'll do it again.
Serial Deployer Check
MediumFlags if the creator wallet has launched many tokens. Serial deployers often run pump & dump schemes across multiple tokens.
